Inflammation has become an epidemic in our modern society and can exist in many different forms. Chronic inflammation can significantly undermine health and play a critical role in whether or not a person is able to heal. Some of the most common sources of inflammation are food sensitivities to wheat, dairy, soy, and alcohol. Hidden infections in the gastro-intestinal tract are another common source of inflammation. Pathogenic microorganisms such as fungus, bacteria, and parasites are extremely common and can often be present without generating obvious symptoms. Any of these stressors can drive the immune and hormonal systems to the point of exhaustion.
