Blood Sugar

All aspects of human physiology are dependent upon the regulation of the amount of glucose in the bloodstream.  These levels are naturally regulated in very tight ranges in order to maintain an optimal physiological balance.  Glucose is the primary source of energy for every cell in our bodies, which means that if blood sugar is low our cells are starved for energy.  Because of their close association with the hormonal system, all blood sugar disorders make any efforts towards health and healing impossible and therefore optimization of this system must be a priority.  Maintaining appropriate meal timing and macronutrient ratios for your particular body type are key for maintaining stable blood sugar levels.
