Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate amounts of oxygen to its tissues and is considered the most common disorder of the blood. It can often go undetected and can manifest in a variety of forms produced by an array of underlying causes, although malnutrition and malabsorption often play a significant role. Anemia can produce symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, general malaise, shortness of breath, and poor concentration.  All types anemia are a threat to health and normal physiology and should be appropriately addressed.
